The Voice of Liberia (VOL) is a media oriented organization with emphasis on promoting the socioeconomic rights and development of women, children and other disenfranchised citizens of Liberia who have been suppressed by decades of political and social disparity.

Since The Voice of Liberia is an independent and non-political entity, it shall seek to identify, without political patronage, areas of suffering of the poor, especially the little ones in our society. In doing so it shall gather news and disseminate information without prejudice.
The VOL aims to achieve its mission through development-oriented programs that bring about lasting improvements in the lives of women and children.
The Voice of Liberia shall establish from time to time organizational units that would handle various activities of the organization. Currently, there are two departments: non-profit organization department and the media department.
The Voice of Liberia is headed by an Executive Director, who has oversight of the organization’s strategic direction and all departments’ heads including the media department. The media department is headed by a managing editor and a corps of officers including, but not limited to the editor-in-chief.
